FREQUENTLY ASKED QUESTIONS


Users and Passwords:
Question:Why can't I log on?
Answer:Ensure you have the correct username and password and check with the
system supervisor to check they have not altered it.

Question:How do I change my password?
Answer:After you have logged on, select Users -> Change Password. Type in your
current password. Select OK. Then type in your new chosen password twice.

Question:How do I create new users?
Answer:Ensuring you are a system supervisor, select Supervisor -> Maintain Users.
Selecting File -> Add new user will allow you to do this.

Creating Parts and Operations:
Question:How do I create a Part or Operation?
Answer:Ensuring you have the correct security priviledge, from the part screen, select
File -> New Part then type in the part number.

Capturing Pictures:
Question:When I press the Live button to capture a picture, I get a black or blue square?
Answer:A solid Black or Blue square indicates no video source is present.
Ensure the camera is plugged in and switched on, and attached to the computer.
Question:When I press the Live button to capture a picture, I get an
interference pattern?
Answer:Your cable is not plugged in firmly, or the cable is faulty. Check
the connections or get another cable.

Printing:
Question:How do I print my Visual Aid?
Answer:Simply select Print -> Print Operation from the operation screen, and choose
the layout you require.
Form Designing:
Question:How do I design my own forms?
Answer:Select Print -> Form Designer from the operation screen, and select the
form you wish to modify, or type in a new name for a new form.
