YEAR 2000 ISSUES > View v5.0, v6.0, ShowHow v3.0 and year 2000 compliance (Y2k) > Assumptions: The above software was developed as a 32-bit application designed to operate under Microsoft's Windows 95, 98 or NT4 operating systems using an Intel Pentium II computer with either Award or American Megatrends BIOS. > Industry Standards: We have chosen this configuration because like yours
most companies already use these > Statement of compliance: The software written by our company takes into account Y2k issues by ensuring that all dates including those that are required to be calculated on and those that need to be sorted by are held in the full form (i.e. 31/12/2000) and as such will not produce errors processing date data in connection with the year change from 31 December 1999 to 1 January 2000. > Bug fixes: Rest assured that this software, after development, was tested extensively and put through a variety of simulations and every thing appeared to function correctly. However should any "bug" be found in our software program code it will be corrected free of charge, regardless of its nature, so long as the customer is covered under "telephone software support". > Disclaimer: The above statement of compliance specifically excludes any responsibilityon our part for the non performance of the View software due to failures and or errors howsoever caused by any third party, software/firmware items (i.e. operating systems, proprietary bit map editors, form designers, computer BIOS, etc.) or hardware items (computer or otherwise) which you may need to use to make up the full system. |
